The incredible sunsets while hiking down Shore Rd toward P-Town, seeing low tide with all
the sandbars and beached boats....people walking, talking and finally.....exhaling.
The drag queens, gay republicans, families, people from all over the world co-habitating
on this tiny part of the world in good spirit, fun and peace. Truly living and letting

I can remember and see glimpses of who I really am here - of who we really are - and
remember what is important to me.
May your troubles be few and your real friends many.....Let this place transform you.
L.L. (Big Fisherman is great by the way!)
N. Truro truly is Cape Cod at it's best..... quiet, relaxing, quaint and cozy. Our days were spent going to Race Point and Head of the Meadow beaches, taking walks along the bay, and consuming relentless quantities of food.
We visited Napi's Restaurant twice. :) (our favorite....I highly recommend the Sante Fe Shrimp), Moby Dicks and the pizza slices from Spriitus capped off every night.
The owners, Dawn & Don are a reason to come back...they've made our stays here very enjoyable. The Big Fisherman is always very clean and welcoming.... like a home away from home. We look forward to this week all year long.
During the evenings, we visited P-town's finest.... the Governor Bradford for Kareoke and loads of entertainement...the Crown-n-Anchor for the drag queen/comedian shows....always a good time.
P-town is also a great spot for shopping. Many nice unique stores and loads of gift stores.
We are already looking forward to coming up again next year!

Another great week at the Big Fisherman that went by all to fast. I can't believe we're packing to leave already.
--Visit the Truro Winery, it's fun and educational, the wine tasting was enjoyable
-- Clem and Ursie's in P-Town for breakfast was very good
--Campfire on Corn Hill beach was great. Very calm night and could see many stars plus a shooting star.
--The Wellfleet Flea Market is traditional
--Golf at the Highland Links and a visit to the Lighthouse was great.
Great meal at Napi's in P-Town plus a visit to the Army Navy Store.
More great memories at the Cape that we'll have forever.
Thanks fo our wonderful hosts, Dawn and Don. We had a wonderful time; until next year. Stay healthy.

A most enjoyable stay. This place is very clean and cozy... and well decorated. North Truro is a lovely quaint town. Beautiful view as you pull out left towards Provincetown. If your a biker take the bike trail in Provincetown. We did a few bicycle trails, all wer nice, some more challenging than others. We also tried different beaches. All the beaches were nice.
The food is good here. Recommend Moby Dick's in Wellfleet, “Best Seafood!!!!” As for the best Clam Chowder, it's a tie. The Lobster Pot has great clam chowder but..... so does Captain Parkers in West Yarmouch. Take the challenge-- try them both.
All in all- a great stay. Thanks Dawn.

This is my 3rd stay at the Big Fisherman and my 3rd time to Cape Cod. Each time I have stayed here I have discovered something new. There are plenty of beaches, biking and hiking trails to explore. I had never seen a whale “up close and personal” before. The whale watch tours are a highlight.
Perhaps the nicest part of our stay has always been right here at the Big Fisherman. It is a home away from home versus a condos. The Perry's are the nicests hosts you'll ever meet.
Thank you Dawn and Don for giving me some lasting memories.

It's our first time to Cape Cod and the Big Fisherman and we loved it! Walking at the breakwater, visiting Highland Light and relaxing here are just a few of the good memories we will have.
I hope this isn't the last time we visit!

This is our second stay at the #2 and after long days of fishing it always feels great to return to our “2nd home”.
Can't say enough about Dawn and Don Perry. Wonderful folks, we think of as good friends. Doesn't matter if the fish ain't biting or the weather is off when you have a place like this and the Perry's to come back to.

This was our 4th time coming to Cape Cod and the Big Fisherman. We have a lot of fun playing in the yard with Molly. We play soccer and catch.
We also have had a bonfire on the beach with Donald, the owner. We have a ton of fun at the Big Fisherman and meet new friends. We wake up every morning and just know that we will have a fun day!
I think that might be how everyone at the Big Fisherman wakes up!
We love the Big Fisherman!

This will make 21 years of staying at the Big Fisherman. We were lucky to be staying at Southwind Court when the owner booked the same cottage twice. We were pawned off on Don Perry and have been thrilled to be welcomed here since that time.
Our family has grown by a daughter-in-law, another grand-daughter and two grandsons.
We came to know Dawn who is one special daughter to have. Don and Dawn allow their renters to be independent but yet still give you a feeling of homey belonging!
The Truro Beach pass is the best way to go. Herring Cove is a great family beach.
Our family takes up three units. Some bike, hike, swim, eat and eat.
Longnook is the most beautiful beach in the world. All natural settings.
There is always something new to do every year.
So many memories!!

It's a happy day to arrive and a sad day to leave. We had a wonderful stay in Unit #5. We enjoyed our walks, biking to the beach, the Audubon Society in Wellfleet, a chamber concert, time to read, wonderful meals.
Thank you for providing wonderful accomodations, always perfect. We will be in touch soon to make plans for next summer, and mean while we wish you our very best.
Another great week on Cape Cod- only 2 non beach days! We had both college kids with us and ended up at Long Nook beach most days. We enjoyed a twilight canoe trip on some freshwater ponds in Wellfleet, thanks to Mass Audubon, went to the Drive In and enjoyed the food at Mobby Dicks and Provincetown.
The guys fished one morning with Cee-Jays. All in all- Perfect... Thanks Don & Dawn, we'll be back.

Another fantastic week at the Big Fisherman! Great beach days all week- even the heat wave was not so bad!
We enjoyed our wonderfully comfortable Unit #3 again.
Thank you for the fresh hydrangeas to greet us.
We've been coming for a lot of years with a few off for college, since 1990?ish. The service is wonderful and both of you are so accommodating. We really appreciate your hospitality.
Great dinners at Tips for Tops and Michael Shay's in P-Town. We also enjoyed a wonderful 28th anniversary dinner at Montano's
Oversand, what can we say? It is a perfect way to spend summer days living life to the fullest!
Thanks again, Don & Dawn. Looking forward to seeing you next year.

Oh, what a wonderful week we have had...it has ended much too quickly! We have been staying here at the Big Fisherman for 14 or 15 years. It is like home and we feel like part of the family.
We come here for the beach if nothing else... and although we did have a nice dinner at the Whitman House one evening, there is nothing like the Gilman Grille at Hatches Harbor!
The weather has been perfect and the 5 day forecast looks great so have a wonderful time with Friends and Family @ the “Big Fish” to whoever takes our place.
We did not catch any fish this year but did see an eagle. (no Piping Plovers – Yeah!) Lots of seals and even some whales very close to shore this year.
The beach out by Race Point Light was fabulous this year. The whole family was here too! Lots of great sunsets, a beautiful full moon, even some meteors.
So happy to be here, so sad to go.... Thanks Dawn & Don for making us feel so at home!
Till next year.....
